This was the first vacation I went on where I rented an apartment in the caribbean, and it was a great experience - something I will definitely do again. We loved having a connection to locals and being able to get the owners' input on places to go and things to do while we were on Providenciales. The owners are very kind people and went well beyond our expectations in terms of answering our questions. They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport in Providenciales, took us to the grocery store, provided us with a grill for cooking out, and even took us around the island one afternoon! The apartment is nice, is in a great location (5 minute walk to the best beach in the Turks and Caicos - Grace Bay Beach, and 5 - 10 minute walk from restaurants and shops), had a great porch area, and the complex has a nice pool. One of our friends loved Grace Bay Place so much that she stayed there last year and came back again this year. I liked staying there much more than staying in a hotel, and it was definitely an economical lodging option
